Open Question: Any good wedding ring tattoo ideas?

My hubby & I are looking into getting a wedding ring tattoo done on our anniversary. However... we're having trouble picking a design. We would prefer something that is just on the top, although a band isn't out of the question. We would like it to be meaningful if we're going to incorperate symbols... but I am not very good at designing things like this.. I am Canadian / British, and he is American / Brazilian (anyway we could incorperate this?) I also though of doing two little puzzle pieces that fit together... I am trying to find the name of these puzzles. Its like where there is a table at the bottom and facts on the top and as you read the facts you cross out the things on the table. For example it would say like who collects what and on the table the names of the people would be Bob, Max, Mary, Cindy, and Oliver. And the the items that they collect would be coins, baseball cards, seashells, stamps, and rocks. And then the facts would be like: 1. Bob doesn't collect anything outdoors. 2. Cindy's collection is on paper 3. etc....... This is just an example to try to let you guys know what I'm talking about. I live with chronic pain and I spend a lot of time online or on the computer when the pain prevents me from doing much else. I write, translate, create art, edit digital photos and do a lot of blogging and posting in forums such as Y!A. Through this I get to interact with people on my terms, when I'm up to it, and can leave things for later if I have a better day. On my better days I do take a lot of photos. I need exercise even though it hurts so I take my digital camera and go for a walk. Later on when I'm in too much pain to go out I work on the photos and it help me to keep my mood up. I used to read and do cross words to keep my mind active but my eyes are quite bed now so I've had to stop. Still it's good things to do. Anything where you use creativity and your mind is good, puzzles, knitting, quizzes or different handicrafts. No pressure for it to be perfect of be done at a certain time, just doing it for fun and stimulation. I also schedule things into my calendar, at least one thing per day, that is easy to do with not so much effort and that doesn't take so much time. "Sort one drawer", "dust the lamp shades", "plan a nice dinner" and so on. I do this because it's so hard to get things done when the pain is always there. Cutting things up into smaller pieces makes it easier to deal with. I often go to this site http://www.getorganizednow.com/cl-month.... to get ideas for things to add to my calendar. I also "save" the good and fun things for later if I was having a bad day the day I had them scheduled, but I never save the other things. I also do a lot of planning and preparing when I have my bad days. I can't bake but I can find good recipes and measure up the things I need. I have a big plastic container with a lid for the dry parts and then other containers for the other parts. When I have a better day it's rather quick and easy to just throw things together and bake something. I set other things up too of course. I plan, buy what I need, draw it all out and set things up so that I just have to do it once that better day happens. I have fabrics and patterns for curtains all ready for action, photo albums for the new photos, it's spring and I have started to plan for the things I want to do once the snow is gone in the garden, I have bags and boxes for the day I get around to cleaning out my closet and give things to charity. It takes some time to get used to planning to do things bit by bit days, weeks or even months apart but it's a really good way to do it. It's also very important to plan fun things, things that make you happy and rest into it all. It might seem obvious that someone that's in pain will rest, but, it's really even more relaxing when you plan it and give yourself permission to be lazy. Living things are nice to look after too, plants, a few fishes in an aquarium or simply doing some bird watching and noting what birds you see and when. Ornithologists in some area have days when they ask people to look for and count birds to see if there is a change in population. It doesn't take much work but it's rewarding to do. more

Resolved Question: Do you know what game this is?

I played a first person puzzle game for PC around the late 90's or 2000-2001 and I cannot remember the name of it or find it online. The graphics where similar to Myst's (who knows it could have been one of Myst's many sequels but I don't think so). I remember that there was a "world" or stage that had an Aztec village and temple in it. Then there was a whole stage that had a Chinese house, Chinese hell, and another place that was really pretty ( it may have had a dragon in it). I remember that the Chinese hell consisted of a few hallways that made a big square and had flying around. Most of them didn't have bodies, just heads I believe. I know that there where other levels, I just didn't make it very far into the game. I'm sorry that I haven't a lot of detail about this game, but this is all I could remember. A few years ago I hated a kid in my grade, He was really annoying and I just couldn't stand being around him. A few weeks ago I hung out with him and a mutual friend and it wasn't as bad as I imagined. I hadn't talked to him in a while because he goes to a different College then I. He IMed me and we talked for a few nights, late into the night online about random things. Then he asked for my phone number one day and called me that night, it wasn't awkward or anything and we talked all night. I kinda like him but im not sure if he likes me.. But another thing that puzzles me is he was home for Easter break and he knew I was too but he didn't ask me to hang out or anything. I'm at a loss here - about a year ago I played a free online brain teaser game. It was VERY well known. Each page was a puzzle or trick question to figure out. When you did, you advanced to the next page. The puzzles were numbered and got progressively harder page by page. Some of the puzzles were so obvious that they were HARD, if you know what I mean. There are no rules here--you can use coupons and if you know how to make it yourself you can, you just want it to not be something your friends hate. I'm doing a project in my careers class, and I chose psychology as a career. My teacher told me I should bring in props/costumes or something.. so right now I'm trying to find props. I've found a couple cool things like a Cross Section Brain Model and an Anatomy and Functional Areas of the Brain (Brain Model and Puzzle) but I don't know where I can actually buy these things in Ontario. And I don't want to buy these online because it takes over a week to ship it, and I only have two days before I need it. Resolved Question: Should I get an Xbox 360 or PS3?

I am in the market for a new gaming system. Obviously,I am considering either a 360 or a PS3. I cannot decide which would be the better investment. I appreciate the 360's lower price tag, but appreciate the PS3's Blueray capability. More then anything though, I suppose it should come down to the games, eh? What draws me to 360 is Halo 3 and Ace Combat 6. What draws me to PS3 is Metal Gear Solid 4 and Little Big Planet. I'm not too familiar with either system's library of games, especially because many games are available for both. So I will provide a list of the game genres I prefer, and based on that perhaps you all can provide some good advice. RPGs Adventure Action and Puzzle Genres that I do play but am not particular to are, Shooters Fighters and Racers I don't care for online gaming, unless the online play is free. So online compatibility and efficiency do not matter to me. Graphics are nice, but game play means more. I hope for some good persuasive replies. Thank you. more

I recently heard that I can download unofficial software from websites straight to my G1, so I can get applications that are not found on the Market. I'm pretty sure there are less people around these days who will w8 till the mourning lite 2 get the L8est gnus. I'm hearing stories of newspapers that are closing down or just minimizing themselves 2 websites. I can also assume there are less people who will wait until morning 2 get their news, TV listings, scores, opinions, comics, puzzles, & classifieds when they can do all that online. Granite, no more newspapers can mean less paper 2 use & throw away. (But what would my sister need 2 line the bottom of her birdcages? Shredded documents?) As for my paper, The Bakersfield Californian, it's been family-owned for over a century & I'm 99% sure it'll stick around for @ least another decade. So is your newspaper in danger of going outta print? Are you willing 2 completely get such stuff from your computer or phone in spite of dead batteries & blackouts? We've been dating a couple of months. He's been married before, has a couple of older kids. Talks about his kids a lot. Now, I'm not jealous, but his kids come up quite a bit. Both on email and in person. And he's a great conversationalist online, but in person, it's like pulling hen's teeth, and I seriously cannot carry an entire convo on my own.
